On the Lookout
My photography is about observing and seizing fleeting, authentic -- and often magical -- moments. I don't define those as "the true essence" of a creature because I see so many essences within animals that just one doesn't cover all of their wondrous, unique, charming and beautifully surprising qualities.
I so love the chase for those moments --
Thank you, Dad, for saving so many cats, dogs and horses from slaughter or ghastly lives. You saved them -- and you saved me -- by filling my odd life with love, vitality and the wonder and honesty of the non-speaking animals.
